PFCM Welcomes... Kendall!

4/26/2016

I first got to know Kendall Gray through triathlon and blogging, way back in the 2000s... I love it when different aspects of my life come together. I'm so thrilled that he's able to join PFCM this year, and that we have a bonafide brass section again.

Kendall Gray, a fourth generation musician, has played horn since he was not quite big enough to hold one, age 10. He still plays it because, no matter what one’s profession is, life without music is not much of a life. Kendall received his Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin and promptly won a place in the New World Symphony where he performed for two seasons, including the orchestra’s debut performances in New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Currently, he resides in Houston where, along with practicing law, he practices horn. He actively free lances, has performed as an extra musician with the Houston Symphony, and plays solo tenor horn for the Houston Brass Band. Kendall is the only partner in his law firm to have both performed in Carnegie Hall and appeared before the Supreme Court of the United States. (Carnegie Hall was better.) In addition to music, Kendall enjoys running and CrossFit.

Kendall is also a great cook, so we'll make sure he's put to some extra use up in Vermont.

Next up, our new visual artists-in-residence...
