​It's a wonderful last day of Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival's 8th Season!

• TODAY: Saturday, August 10 from 12:30-2PM at the Jamaica Town Hall -- Pikes Falls Visual Artists lead kids and young adults in an Art and Music Exploration with recycled materials. The session will end with a parade around town with the newly invented instruments. (Parents are welcome too!) 
• TODAY: Saturday, August 10 at 1:30PM at Bromley Manor -- Pikes Falls Musicians play selections of the Week 2 Concert
• TODAY: Saturday, August 10 from 3-4PM at the Jamaica Town Hall -- Pikes Falls Visual Artists give a talk about their art and practice
• TODAY: Saturday, August 10 at 7PM at the Jamaica Town Hall -- Pikes Falls Musicians play the Week 2 Concert (Reserve your seats!)
  • ​Jamaica Historical Society opens at 6, and there is a preconcert discussion at 6:30 at the Town Hall
  • Week 2 Concert features music by: Joan Tower, Jacques Ibert, Johannes Brahms, Pierre Jalbert, and a commission by composer-in-residence Nathan Lincoln de Cusatis 
    

PFCM's 2019 Commission by Nathan Lincoln de Cusatis features the New York photographs of longtime Jamaica, VT homeowner, Rebecca Lepkoff. Life in The Lower East Side, 1937-1950: A Live Soundtrack was supported by New Music USA. The commission will be performed with photographic slideshow in Jamaica on 10th.
