Hi, all -
Thanks for checking in. As 2014 is drawing to a close (and I have some holiday down-time), planning for Season 4 of the Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival is underway. To help keep a more modest budget, we're going to try a slightly shorter season this year. We'll have 2 evening concerts in the Jamaica Town Hall during the first week in August. The plan is to repeat those concerts in Weston and do preview concerts in the Jamaica State Park and Farmer's Markets. And never fear, we'll still host the potluck and open mic night. Over the next couple of weeks, the exact dates and repertoire will be posted on our website. (Ideas are in the works, but a few more details need to be confirmed.) But of course, to do those things, funding is paramount. Even with the truncated schedule (and fewer musicians), we still need to raise $15,000. The holiday season is starting, and I know many of you are thinking about end-of-year donations. (I recently received a couple generous checks in the mail. THANK YOU!) Please consider supporting the Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival. This probably goes without saying, but anything helps. Also, please let me know if you have any questions or comments about PFCM; I'd love to hear from you. And of course, Happy Thanksgiving! Susanna Loewy PS: Miss PFCM?
