If we have your mailing address on file, you likely received this Valentine's letter via snail mail this week, but we wanted to take this opportunity to say Happy Valentine's Day to our whole community!

Today, on Valentine's Day, I find myself reflecting on the many ways love manifests itself in our lives. Love is so expansive! It’s through the passion of music, the bond of a community coming together, and the simple joy of sharing something beautiful with others. 

I believe in the power of music to unite, inspire, and heal. Lately, Asher, my superhero-obsessed four year old, has made me remember the awesome wonder of superpowers, and I’m realizing now that music is certainly a superpower. I’m asking for your support to continue to bring the power of music to Southern Vermont.

Since 2012, Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival has brought together world-class musicians, music lovers, and community for a week of music and art in Jamaica, Grafton, Londonderry, and Manchester. But we can't do it alone. We need your help to ensure that the Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival continues to thrive and grow, allowing us to offer new and exciting programming for all to enjoy.

This Valentine's Day, we invite you to share in the love of music by making a donation to the festival. Your generosity will help fund:

• Concerts & Performances: We bring the world’s finest musicians to our intimate venues, offering concert experiences that you can’t find anywhere else.
• Community: From children’s programs at the Jamaica Community Library to the Garden Concert and Dinner, we are committed to making music available for everyone – all free!
• Festival Expansion: With your help, we can expand our programming, bringing even more talent, diversity, and creativity to the festival each year.
  
  

Each year, our festival runs within a $25,000 budget. We run a tight ship, and are lucky to receive many in-kind gifts of lodging and food. Nevertheless, each year our fundraising starts from scratch, and we’d really love to avoid a massive budgetary crunch in the weeks just prior to the festival. (I'm very aware that no one enjoys the panicked money-begging messages a month (or a week!) before the festival starts.)

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, your gift is more than just a donation – it’s a love letter to the arts, a chance to share the gift of music, and a way to create lasting memories with a community that’s important to you. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure that the Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival continues to flourish and bring people together.
